In my art works I mainly working in sculpture, what is actually directly connected with my education – on 2007. I graduate Master degree in sculpting in Latvia’s Art Academy. During these years I have made few personal exhibitions, also have participated in many croup exhibitions, art projects, symposiums, festivals and contests as well, in Latvia and abroad(Japan, Vietnam, Russia, Lithuania, Estonia, Finland, Sweden, Germany, Poland, Spain, Italy, France, Switzerland, USA, Kuwait, Cabo Verde).
As sculptor I’m working with very different materials – welding metal, fiberglass, concrete, Styrofoam, ice, snow, sand, wood, bronze, aluminum, stone, some combined materials and also making fire sculptures.
Hi, I’m Carl Jara. I’m actually a pretty simple guy, When I'm not hanging out with my amazing daughter, I enjoy woodworking, gardening, food, a good book, and beer.
I have two of the most envied jobs in the world; exhibits creator for the Cleveland Museum of Natural History and professional sand sculptor. I’ve earned the opportunity over the last 32 years to travel the world, win six dozen or so medals, and to work with and compete against almost every sand sculptor in the business, many of whom have become like family.
I create sand sculpture because I worship it, it is my spiritual experience. It is my opportunity to illustrate the profound changes, moments, and efforts of my own personal narrative and it gives me great pleasure to be able to share it with you.
My name is Ludo Roders and I come from the Netherlands.
I graduated from Rotterdam Willem de Kooning art academy. Not long after my study in painting, drawing and print techniques I got in touch with the world of sculptures of sand, ice and snow. Ever since I have been developing my skills and broadening my view by participating in festivals and competitions all over the world.
In the winter of 2021, I was the winner of a Dutch Television show Ice Masters. A competition on TV between six ice sculptors with four episodes. An amazing experience that I will never forget.
Emerson is a painter and sand sculptor from west Michigan. He now lives in Galveston, Texas where he runs the Galveston branch of Sandy Feet Sand Castle Services.
Emerson has been giving sandcastle lessons and creating sand sculptures for events and competitions for over 13 years and has taken home prizes in several Master's events, including Siesta Key’s Crystal Classic, Texas Sand Fest, and South Padre Island’s Sand Castle Days.
When he’s not on a pile of sand, you can find him climbing rocks, playing guitar, or trying to make friends with the local cats.
The Dutch artist Maxim Gazendam was born in 1981 in The Hague (NL) and studied Architecture at the Delft University of Technology.
During his studies he accidentally came into contact with sand sculptures. An afternoon of building sand sculptures for adults (as a team building workshop) laid the foundation for his later career in this field. Simultaneously with his studies at TU, Maxim developed his qualities in sculpture and design. In the meantime he himself gave the conscious workshops for team building activities to the business community.
Under his leadership, more than 10,000 people have followed the sand sculpture building program.
Sèveline Beauregard is from Québec, Canada.
She is one of the youngest professionnal carvers in the world. In 2016, her father and sister, Guy and Mélineige Beauregard, both international carvers, invite her on some snow carving projects. Little by little, she found her place in the professionnal world.
After snow and ice carving, at the Ice Hôtel of Québec, at the Winterlude of Gatineau, at the Carvanal of Québec and more, she got into the sand carving world in 2018. Since then, she won few prices and had the opportunity to carve in other countries.
Dean was born and raised in central Maryland.
Graduating from Ringling College of Art & Design in 2008, he now resides in St. Petersburg, FL with his wife, 3 cats, and 2 chickens. Dean has been sculpting sand with Team Sandtasitc since 2010 dealing mostly with commercial projects for corporate events, resorts, and global brands.
With 13 years of professional sand sculpting under his belt, he's ready to get creative and have fun with his fellow sand artists who he's come to know through the industry over the years.
Born in the province of Korat in Nakhonratchasima, Thailand, on Feb. 10, 1969. Kumpa moved to the Tampa Bay area in 1996. Today, Kumpa lives Safety Harbor Fl, and his studio is a few miles away in Safety Harbor, where he creates.
Kumpa Tawornprom has a degree in Architectural Design from the Royal Thai Academy, and art from Staynt Petersburg College, in Clearwater fl. and is also a Master Sculptor and Painter with many years of experience. Kumpa’s traditional approach to his work lends itself to a timeless sense of beauty to any project he is committed too.
He's made sculptures for companies like Disney, Warner Brothers, Busch Gardens, Nickelodeon and the Ringling Brothers Circus. a variety of mediums, including Styrofoam, fiberglass, epoxy, wood, acrylic, paint and even chalk!
